Being prolific and good is the perfect one-two punch September 5, 2007

I know a few people that are really good but infrequent. I know many others that are prolific. Then there’s web strategist Jeremiah. Eric of VentureBeat did an interview with him today. I know few people that can be everywhere - where it matters. Here’s what I learned from Jeremiah:
1. Give more than people expect - 150% everytime, and you’ll get A for effort every time. No one has a 100% batting average but when you share what people expect, then people notice. The number and frequency of his information sharing is amazing. Highly recommend subscribing to his blog if you are interested at all in Web & Internet strategy.
2. Give with no expectation in return: I have not seen any expectation from him in return because he believes you reading his blog alone is amazing. In this age of information abundance, attention is scarce so its great to get anyone reading this or other blogs.
3. Sharing what you learned is the best way to internalize it yourself: If you write you tend to remember more is what I know from experience. Sharing (blogging and writing) helps you get your ideas in more concrete format and helps crystallize your multiple ideas into coherent thoughts.

Inovis announced on Wednesday, August 16, 2007 that a new addition has been made to the family.
- Our New Cousin: Steve Coussins will be the man with the plan as he uses his affluence to successfully chair an outside customary board for both the UK and European markets.
- Step by Step: Coussins will utilize both his status and resources to lead this advisory committee and in doing so, maximize the success of Inovis’ recent acquisition with Freeway Commerce and deepen the company’s footprint in the UK.
- Family Feud: Inovis is putting its best foot forward to become a bigger global presence and in doing so, be different from competition like GXS and Sterling Commerce. With a new Tier IV data center, a 24 hour support staff, a seemingly endless list of global partners and a stronger foothold in the UK (thanks to Freeway Commerce and Steve Coussins), Inovis is creating the pace to win the race.
- Family Tree: Steve Coussins is the former Chief Executive Officer of GS1 UK. With over 19,000 UK based members and a global suite of supply chain standards used by over a million companies in 140 countries, GS1 UK is the UK authority for the GS1 System. Prior to his tenure at GS1 UK, Mr. Coussins was Managing Director of Harbinger UK. Mr. Coussins joined this forerunner to Inovis UK when the company that Mr. Coussins formed in 1992, EISL, was taken over.
