On November 5, Inovis acquired a company in Austin, Texas by the name of BetweenMarkets. To better acquaint you with our newest team members, here’s a quick introduction to BetweenMarkets and its founder, Erik Huddleston.
In 2000, Erik Huddleston noticed the rising data quality problems occurring in B2B transactions. Erik’s answer was a company that offered on-demand software that enabled retailers and suppliers to collaborate to find and fix errors before they impacted orders, shipments, and sales. BetweenMarkets was also established to offer software dealing with vendor compliance and chargeback management. BetweenMarkets’ Deducation Management application is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) that allows retailers to automatically monitor partner transactions against detailed compliance rules to identify errors, track deductions, and create tasks by role. BetweenMarket’s Chargeback Avoidance monitors your inbound and outbound transactions against your retail customer’s compliance guides, identifying errors before they become problems.
Prior to founding BMI in 2000 and residing as the company’s CTO, Erik worked at eCustomers and SMART Technologies architecting consumer and retail analytics products. Erik will join Inovis as the Vice President of Products and Strategic Applications, and will have no problem fitting in. Erik and John McCracken will have a lot to talk about every time college football season rolls around. Like John, Erik is a fanatical Longhorns fan. Erik will also find himself bonding with Mukund Mohan since they both admittedly buy every cool gadget that hits the market. We are thrilled to work with Erik and the other BMIers, and know that we can learn a lot from these Texans. Our blog readers will also benefit from Erik’s knowledge, as he will be a regular blogger in the very near future.
