A few weeks back, Inovis hosted its North America Customer Advisory Board meeting at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead near our American headquarters in Georgia. At the meeting, a total of 10 companies sent representatives to provide feedback to Inovis employees and share their business challenges. Of the businesses represented, 5 out of the 10 companies were retailers and the others were varied between Pharmaceuticals, Distributors, and High Tech. Members of the board ranged from Director to CIO, to VP levels.

At the meeting, Dwight Klappich from Gartner spoke on the Global Supply Chain, and discussed some of the complexities and challenges of the global supply chain, as well as the mandates that applied to many of the companies in the room. The dominant themes discussed were the tightening economy and rising transportation costs which were squeezing them to become more efficient than ever before. Another topic point was product Visibility (down to the sku and inventory levels), data quality/data integrity, orders and exceptions.

The intimate setting and open forum provided for a very constructive and enlightening experience. Thanks to all of our participants! We enjoyed speaking with you.
