I had the chance to sit down with Dennis Hall at Pervasive Software and our own Jon Gatrell to chat about the Inovis partnership (announced last week).
Dennis was quite the host. A shiny new golf shirt is hanging in my closet, so I’m on the hook for “swag payback” as they say.
The short story? It’s all about opening up your supply chain, making the world better by connecting your back-office applications to your trading community:
Dennis: “If a company is running is running SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or a CRM system like salesforce.com, and they want to provide their teams more visibility to what’s going on in the supply chain, Pervasive and Inovis can come in and provide connectivity to these back-office systems right away, instead of waiting of internal IT systems”
Jon: “We will be integrating the Pervasive Data Integrator solutions into our BizManager product line. And it’s also available for customers who use our Inovisworks network as well our customers on TrustedLink. I don’t think there’s a single solution in our portfolio that couldn’t leverage Data Integrator and the adapters, and that’s really why we picked Pervasive.”
