This week, Inovis poses as the proud parent while we watch our infant blog step into the spotlight.  Why have we chosen this particular medium?  We want to hear from you!  We may not be able to guarantee that this blog will make all of your wildest dreams come true, but we can promise that we’ll listen.  To get a better idea of how our blog and podcasts will fit into the bigger picture, we’ve asked some of our employees to weigh in.

 

Tami Morrison, the Senior Director of Core Technologies, views the Inovis blog as a way to communicate with customers on a deeper level.  “I think it’s a huge medium and a great vehicle to get feedback from customers.  Posing questions to customers, putting out topics for discussion and encouraging feedback is better than just, ‘I’m here because I don’t like something.’  If we can encourage positive constructive criticism, I think that would be great.”

 

The Senior Director of Product Strategy Analysis, Jon Gatrell, believes our blog will help to further define the company’s personality and identity in the world of B2B exchange.  “I think one thing that historically has separated us from our competitors is our willingness to be who we are. The honesty of what we can and can’t do is important.  Coming across something we can’t do allows Inovis to plan and collaborate with the prospect in a way that satisfies our client and provides future solutions.  The level of honesty, or transparency, that we can get with our blog is going to really show who we are.”
