After reading Meg’s post on on risk and keeping an eye on the recent hurricane, I was reminded of a publication by AMR Research around better understanding the impact of Risk in the supply and the finance chain.

The book covers 4 sections:
  • Enterprise risk - An overview of the types of risks which for an enterprise and looks at methodologies and concepts for better managing enterprise risk.
  • Regulatory Risk - How can compliance or non-compliance for SOX or other mandates which are just emerging like 10+2.
  • Supply Chain Risk - A detailed section on supplier risks and the nature of a global supply chain
  • Practitioner’s Guide - An over view of how to implement better data management, automation and ensuring you have a successful plan to address risks.

If you are interested in getting a copy, I have 5 which I can send out to the first 5 folks who comment. It’s a good read.

  • Survey partners to assess readiness
  • Use self-service certification to shorten on-boarding times by 10x
