For our blog savvy customers, we are pleased to announce that Inovis will be launching a customer community portal in the near future. Here you’ll be able to take advantage of some of our exciting new features including a Wiki, Feature Forum, Customer FAQ Channel, and Latest News and Events.
Through this new portal, customers will be able to ask questions, share knowledge, provide feedback, and create content with other customers as well as employees of Inovis. We’ll keep you posted!

Today’s post comes in the form of a question. While many file transactions taking place in the supply chain industry are through EDI, there are still many other types of file transfers that must take place in day-to-day business.

My daughter just graduated from High School, receiving beaucoup graduation gifts from family and friends. Part of the graduation party activity was recording who-gave-what so she could send thank you cards. This was challenging at times, especially for presenters’ gifts brought to the house whose card listed a name, but no address. The ‘challenge’ was trying to locate up-to-date addresses in our address book for the thank you cards. Half way through a long afternoon of Google / 411 searches for addresses, a sense of déjà vu clicked in… How many times have I encountered out-of-date Trading Partner lists for clients migrating to the Inovis VAN?

What’s going on in the busy world of Inovis? The news crossed the wires today that Inovis has been named a 2007 Partner in Progress for Sears Holdings Corporations. This award was presented to the company for its efforts in on-boarding suppliers of Sears Holdings with the Inovis Actionable Intelligence Community Management Services. This is the third time Inovis has been honored by Sears Holdings with the Partners in Progress award.
We’d like to take a moment to thank Sears and let them know that the pleasure is all ours.
